Jeanet Allinson
Owner / Proprietor

Owner / Proprietor Jeanet Allinson started her career in beauty services in 1980, specializing in nail care. Later expanding into esthetics, Jeanet honed her skills and earned her sterling reputation while working at several prestigious salons in Toronto. In spring 1998, she opened her own establishment in the upscale Yorkville district.

In providing premium skincare, body treatments and hair services, Jeanet Spa & Salon reflects Jeanet's high professional standards and her warm, caring approach to beauty and well–being.

When not pampering clients, Jeanet enjoys stargazing – literally – up north with her beloved telescope as well as reading historical biographies. Mostly, she's happy basking in the company of hubby Randy and their Cornish Rex cats, Rameses and Osiris.

Eva Agpaoa
Esthetician

Philippine–born Esthetician Eva Agpaoa acquired her diploma from Marvel Beauty Schools. She worked for Mary Kay Inc. as a sales director before joining us in 1999 to become a skilled, much–sought–after member of our team. Her VIP clients have included Maria Bello, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Fran Drescher. Eva devotes her leisure hours to swimming, biking and enjoying the company of her daughter, Sarah. In between, she manages to squeeze in yet another passion of hers–singing.

Yvette Ashegh
Esthetician

A graduate of Marvel Beauty Schools, Esthetician Yvette Ashegh joined our team in 2004. She has been working in all areas of esthetics since 2000, garnering honours and awards for her attention to detail and dedication to her field. Yvette specializes in facials and threading and takes pride in providing her clients with meticulous skin analyses and customizing skincare regimens geared to their needs. Her celebrity clients have included Eva Longoria and Roselyn Sanchez. Her time off work is spent enjoying life with her husband, Tony, and son, Jason.

Antonella Bruno
Hair Stylist

A graduate of the International Academy of Hair Design, Hair Stylist Antonella Bruno also has a fashion and merchandising diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. She started working in the hairstyling field in 1988 and was a former salon owner herself before joining our team in the fall of 2007 eager to demonstrate her expertise in weddings and wigs. Off work, Antonella relishes her time as a wife and mother to her teen daughter and toddler son.

Sophia Deerr
Hair Stylist

A graduate in cosmetology in 1987 at George Brown College, Hair Stylist and Colour Technician Sophia Deerr developed her skills working at numerous fashion shows in the city, including the fundraiser gala event Fashion Cares. Sophia, who considers every day "different and a new challenge," specializes in colour and colour correction. She intersperses her leisure activities - reading, fitness training and dancing - with quality time spent with her family.

Tanya Drobysheva
Esthetician

A true “trans–cultural” – born in the Ukraine and lived in Buenos Aires before moving to Toronto in 1999 – Esthetician Tanya Drobysheva speaks four languages (English, Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish) and understands Polish. She obtained her certificate in esthetics from George Brown College in 2002 and joined us two years later. Detail–oriented and devoted to her craft, Tanya “loves making people feel beautiful.” On her days off, she enjoys camping, dancing, reading and spending quality time with her daughters, Olga and Iryna.

Kirsten Hertzum-Larsen
Registered Massage Therapist

Registered Massage Therapist, Kirsten Hertzum (R.M.T.) graduated from ICT Schools Kikkawa College and is a member of the Ontario Massage Therapist Association. Joining our team in spring 2007, Kirsten brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in therapeutic and soft tissue massage. She specializes in myofascial release, a unique form of massage that focuses on the thin tissue covering every organ, muscle and fibre in the body to provide an integrated approach to pain management.

Diana Iorfida
Manager

When Diana Iorfida joined our team in September 2007, she brought with her nine years of experience working as a receptionist/coordinator for several beauty salons in Toronto. Diana's interests are diverse and have ranged from business management studies to the performing arts. She likes travelling (personal preference: sunny destinations), training at the gym, writing poetry and short stories and – last but not least – caring for Jack, her beloved and very lively Jack Russell terrier.

Peter Karrandjas
Hair Specialist

Hair Specialist Peter Karrandjas joined us in 1998 and runs our hair department. Having worked in the industry since 1981, Peter is adept at precision cutting and styling and has an excellent rapport with his numerous loyal clients. He has also participated in many charity “cut–a–thons” and makeovers for magazine articles. His pastimes include travelling to hot–sun, cool–wind locales, so the Caribbean is a favourite destination for him and his family – wife Susan and their two sons, Eric and Michael.

Sarah Mair
Esthetician

Esthetician Sarah Mair was born and raised in Mississauga and received her diploma in advanced esthetics and electrolysis from Gina's College of Advanced Aesthetics in 1996. A specialist in eyelash extensions, Sarah joined our team in December 2007. Besides "creating perfect lashes," she also likes "making people feel good" and keeping herself abreast of industry trends through seminars and conventions. Sarah enjoys traveling, snowboarding and spending quality time with her family, friends and, last but not least, her two tabby cats, Phoenix and Pablo.

Helga Pelyvas
Spa Director

Before joining our team in 1994, Budapest-born Spa Director Helga Pelyvas trained at the Edith Serei School of Advanced Esthetics in Toronto. Dedicated and a perfectionist, Helga combines her vast experience with her extensive skincare knowledge on a wide range of complexion types, from mature to tween. She deftly customizes regimens to the needs of her numerous loyal clients who describe her as among "the best and most trusted in the business." To keep herself up to date with innovations in the esthetics field, Helga regularly attends seminars and conventions in North America and Europe. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading novels and dedicates herself to her family.

Stephanie Ricchio
Hair Stylist

After working at various salons in Toronto for four years, Hair Stylist Stephanie Ricchio joined our team in the fall of 2007. She is a graduate of the Marvel School of Hairdressing in Yorkville and specializes in updo's and blow-drying. Stephanie also has a sociology degree from York University. She enjoys swimming and travelling with her husband, Marco.

Veronika Varechovska
Esthetician

Slovakian–born Esthetician Veronika Varechovska received her certificate in Bratislava and has been working in all areas of esthetics since 1996. She operated her own spa for seven years before moving to Toronto in 2003 and joining our team the following year. Veronika specializes in facials and waxing procedures but is also an expert in micro–dermabrasion and in eyelash and eyebrow tinting. Her pastimes are swimming and watching movies, but mostly, she's happy just being with husband Anton and daughter Veronika Jr.
